  • Manna honey is a rare and special type of honey that is produced by bees who collect the sweet sap from trees and plants within the deep forest. Unlike all other honey which is produced when bees collect the nectar from flowers, the bees that produce Manna honey follow a different and more strenuous path. These Manna honey producing bees instead collect the secretions of sweet sap off the leaves, bark, and branches of the trees and plants in rich coniferous forests. 

    This remarkable process results in the creation of a truly precious honey that yields extremely high contents of minerals, vitamins ,amino acids, strong antibacterial properties, and a uniquely delicious tasting honey. 

  • Manna Honey can only be produced in rich coniferous forests of Mountain climates. Our Manna honey is produced by the happy bees that flourish in the idyllic conditions of the ancient virgin forests that engulf the Carpathian mountains of Transylvania. The bees that produce Manna honey require very specific conditions in order to thrive and produce this amazing honey.

  • If your jar of Manna Honey has become crystallized, don’t worry! It is completely fine to consume and does not reflect on the quality of the honey. Crystallized honey is actually a major sign that the honey is natural and has not undergone any diluting or adulterating process. Honey can naturally crystallize especially when the weather turns cooler. By simply placing your jar of Manna honey in a warm area or in warm water, the crystals will melt away and return to the original consistency. 

  • If you find a layer of this honey foam inside your honey jar consider yourself lucky. The foam consists of air bubbles making their way to the top of the jar. Honey foam is totally safe to eat and extremely healthy. It packs some of the best things in honey itself such as pollen, propolis, wax, and of course, raw honey.

  • The best way to store your jar of Manna honey is by keeping it in its original tightly sealed container in a cool location away from direct sunlight and direct heat. You do not need to refrigerate your honey and avoid freezing. Additionally, avoid storing your honey in any metal container because it can oxidize. 

  • No, raw honey is not safe for the consumption of children under one. Experts recommend waiting until children are at least one year old before consuming any type of honey.
